Seagrass mapping software: Ecosons SSSv-profiler

We have just uploaded the software of seagrass mapping, Ecosons SSSv-profiler, to our downloads page. This software will enable you to map seagrass meadows from vertical Sidescan Sonar data.

Using acoustic impedance differences between water column and seagrass, this software calculates underwater vegetation height in each surveyed point. Using these height measurements mapping of differents seagrass species can be perfomed (Cymodocea nodosa and Posidonia oceanica, for example). XYZH files (latitude, longitude, depth and seagrass height) can be exported for visualization or analysis in a GIS.
